MEWBOURNE OIL COMPANY, an independent oil and gas exploration and production company since 1965, is seeking to hire an experienced and professional Administrative Petroleum Landman in its corporate office in Tyler, Texas.

Candidates must be highly motivated, with good organizational skills, detail oriented and reliable. The position will report to the VP of Exploration and will have broad based land responsibilities including administrative land work, title curative, writing and interpreting contracts and land negotiations. The candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of land contracts and title opinions. A minimum of 10 years of experience is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word. Working knowledge of Enertia Land System database is desired. Strong interpersonal abilities along with excellent written and verbal communication aptitudes. Experience in both Anadarko and Permian Basin's is preferred.

Revenue Accountant

MEWBOURNE OIL COMPANY, an independent oil and gas exploration and production company since 1965, is seeking to hire a Revenue Accountant in its corporate office in Tyler, Texas.

Candidate must be highly motivated, with a positive attitude, good organizational skills, detail oriented and reliable. Qualifications include accounting degree with a minimum of 5 years O & G revenue accounting, including revenue distributions, severance tax reporting and state and federal regulatory royalty reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word and a working knowledge of Quorum software is desired. Strong interpersonal abilities along with excellent written and verbal communication aptitudes are required.
